Spoonie Privacy Policy

Spoonie is a cooking tutor. We collect only the information needed to run lessons, progress, safety guidance, subscriptions, and optional AI coaching.

Information Spoonie Uses

Spoonie may store account identity, onboarding answers, learning progress, XP, streaks, pantry items, subscription status, AI request metadata, and cooking photos you choose to upload for feedback. Educational content is bundled locally in the app.

AI and Image Feedback

AI requests and image feedback are sent to Spoonie backend services so they can be processed securely without placing OpenAI keys in the app. Spoonie does not intentionally send raw AI messages or sensitive diet or allergy text to analytics.

Payments

Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple. Spoonie uses RevenueCat to validate purchase status and unlock Spoonie Plus features.

Data Deletion

You can delete app data from Settings. Some records, such as subscription receipts or security logs, may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, or service integrity.

Children

Spoonie is not made for children. Cooking can involve heat, sharp tools, allergens, and food safety risks, so younger users should cook with responsible adult supervision.
